From the author: Stress has become a constant part of the life of almost everyone. And absolutely everyone wants to live without him. Everyone wants not to experience negative emotions. Everyone wants to be happy. And everyone wants inner peace and quiet. How does silence feel? What does she look like? And what does inner silence mean for a person? What opportunities does it open up? Silence. This is what all of us living in cities and megalopolises desperately lack today. Yes, probably, today’s villagers too. Life is becoming more and more tense, eventful, aggressive and fussy. Few people manage to stop and be alone with themselves. Let’s look at a typical day for a typical city dweller. As far as possible - getting up early when the phone rings/ smartphone. Hygiene procedures are often accompanied by an information flow from the same smartphone - instant messengers, social networks, information and news resources, alternative television or just music - and the outflow of energy instantly begins. Because the neurons are working hard. Breakfast. Alone or as part of a family, under the same incessant noise of the TV, tablet, laptop, smartphone - whoever has what. And all this is mixed with communication face to face, online, or by phone. Attention begins to wander. Because the sources of information are multidirectional. You constantly have to be distracted from something important. The way to work. It develops differently for everyone. Some travel by public transport, others by private transport, others on foot. But regardless of the choice, each of us is faced with an avalanche of advertising, which is aimed at attracting our attention and forcing us to take action. Every pillar is hung with advertising, every 10 minutes of radio broadcast is occupied with it, and also video monitors, transport, promoters handing out flyers and constantly inviting people somewhere - from this abundance of information that the brain is trying to analyze and process, irritation begins, which indicates that the outflow energy increased even more. Everyone has long known that where our attention is, that’s where our energy is. At work, there is multitasking mode. Hundreds of things that needed to be done yesterday. Fear of being left behind by competitors, falling behind, not being on time, being left behind in life. Also, “stupid” subordinates or management. And hundreds of important calls a day. And between them there is the same information flow. And by the evening - your strength is already running out. What? They are gone already in the morning? Chronic fatigue? Are you already waking up tired? Of course!!! Your life, daily stress, and the loads to which you expose yourself, thinking that you are helping yourself to recover - completely they don’t contribute to this, but just the opposite. In the evening, on the way home, you still need to remember about the store - products, completely synthetic, in which there is also nothing alive to buy. Or maybe grab some powdered wine or beer to relieve fatigue if the children don’t have parent-teacher conferences at school. At home, in the evening, when the body is trying to get ready for rest, it is once again bombarded with an avalanche of information during the day - news, movies, or computer games. – and the brain, instead of plunging into silence and preparing the body for sleep, tenses up and works again. For wear and tear. And at night - an anxious sleep that does not relax or restore. Therefore, in the morning you already wake up tired. And it all starts from point 1. And add to this list family responsibilities, caring for children/parents. What if not everything is “smooth” in the family and conflicts occur or there is misunderstanding? What if you still have troubles at work? And also with health problems? Thus, stress, which everyone around talks about, but which people create for themselves, becomes a constant companion of life, so familiar that it becomes impossible to separate it from oneself - it becomes part of the personality, merges with her. There was a time when I, like everyone else, experienced the same conditions. When CFS was permanent. And he did not leave me even during rest. But that time passed happily. One day I started.
