The unconscious we have forgotten. Archetypes K.G. Junga are living beings. Probably the only gods alive in our strange times. Gods forgotten and betrayed. And therefore their only destiny is revenge. Revenge on humanity that betrayed them. How mother and father, betrayed by their children, take revenge. People no longer believe in him, but God continues to act from within, creating fantasies, fears, and somatic symptoms. Their revenge is unobtrusive and seemingly invisible. A person suddenly notices that spirituality, the meaning of life, and faith in the future have been lost. How else? By betraying the source from which we previously fed, we doomed ourselves to destruction. How impossible life is without Love, how impossible life is without the memory of those closest to you. How impossible it is to live in denial of that huge world in which these strange and incomprehensible Gods live. What the hero of one of the plays once said came true: “How strange and how boring it would be to live in a world in which everything secret and unknown would disappear ! The world has become boring. Rationality won. Everything is clear, everything has been studied, put into some kind of framework, and even the traditionally incomprehensible - Magic, UFOs, God - everything fell into some logical clusters and became explainable. The church is an “institution,” hierarchs are managers, and churches are offices. God has left us! What else could he do? Previously, there was a mermaid in every river, a goblin in every grove, and God in every temple. What is left for us? - ashes. Constant bustle trying to grab something that is eluding us. Humanity rushes to any stupidity that perverted human logic can throw at us - like the end of the world, Vanga. The dominance of magicians and sorcerers, who are more like swindlers with a six-year education, is striking. These endless attempts to gain faith in at least something are similar to the action of a drug addict in search of the next dose. They are crazy, hysterical, and sometimes even cruel. In attempts to find the next dose of spiritual drugs, people lose the remnants of their minds and, oddly enough, the very spirituality that they are so greedily trying to gain. Only a few are able to observe this madness from the outside. But they are also doomed to suffer. Their suffering is deeper and more acute, because... they, unlike the rest of humanity, are forced to realize the depth of the fall of human philosophy, morality, and spirituality. Poor sufferers cannot help but see, not notice how they are emasculated, how all the great spiritual achievements of their fathers are simplified and cut off as unnecessary, how everything that is complex and unattainable for the majority is overthrown and anathematized... As beings who are usually quite intelligent, they calm themselves with thoughts that this is temporary, this is another round, that all this has already happened. But will any of them ever remember when humanity forgot God? Of course, for the most part this statement applies to modern Russia and Europe. And let them not console themselves with the conviction that the Catholic Throne is still strong in Europe, while Orthodoxy is experiencing an active revival in Russia. The huge number of scandals in which both pillars of the Christian world found themselves drawn (thanks to the media, etc.) overthrow any belief in their infallibility. And infallibility is needed! It is simply necessary. Without it, faith becomes as if incomplete, as if unreal. Let everyone, even the one who considers himself a devout believer, plunge into himself, and there, finding himself alone with his spirit, honestly without fear of being misunderstood, wounded, crushed, answer himself: are the spiritual leaders of modern Christianity truly infallible? Are they those spiritual and moral guidelines that will show the way to us wandering through the endless desert of life in the night? And if this is done by a believing and thinking person, not oppressed by fanaticism or dogma, social environment and generally accepted opinion, then, I think, he will have to face an almost insurmountable monument of truth. The truth is that the world has changed! Humanity has changed. Human civilization has changed. Too much has happened, too muchso that something very small, but very important, disappears from the soul of each of us. Something without which Faith becomes a set of dogmas and rituals, and which visits everyone only in moments of extreme necessity, in seconds of extreme joy and sorrow. When, rising high above the earth, we acutely feel involved in something huge, beautiful and once lost. One author said: “Even if there is no God, humanity had to invent him!” It is impossible, simply impossible, inexpressibly boring to exist in our boundless Universe, indulging only instincts and mechanistic actions, a “man of the system” - what, in fact, most of humanity has become. Only for a moment do people feel or imagine for themselves during their lives involvement in something greater. And something in each of us hurts, hurts from powerlessness and hopelessness. The notorious Spark of God, so necessary for each of us and so unclaimed. Each of us is immersed in a struggle with the demons of instincts and every day we certainly lose this battle, and only a few are ready to sincerely admit this. Spiritual struggle is a difficult burden recognized by most people as an unnecessary burden in our prosaic material times. Many flatter themselves with the hope that, they say, I will grow a tree, build a house, raise my children to be good people, and it seems that everything is not in vain; but they forget that a person who is internally split and not whole cannot do all this well! It doesn't happen that way. And this truth, sitting in each of us, tears us apart. Everyone runs away from it - what is usual there? - all types of consumption, betrayal of loved ones, human callousness, the painful need to have a hobby, anything, just not to think, not to feel this pain, not to overcome hourly, every minute all this nonsense called “modern civilization.” Something remains unchanged! Children and madmen are the only ones who have not yet lost this connection. Only in them does the Spark of God burn, it burns so that anyone can see, discern, feel, taste - it is real, sincere, incomprehensible, wise. But who, in their right mind, will hear this, allow it to be heard, accepted, supported by children, and even more so by crazy people? Not this! Reason, or rather, rationality, was suppressed by everything. Even in children this is most clearly visible. Our children have been subjected to a massive attack by modern civilization. A modern child, having barely learned the skills of self-care and speech, is lost in the world of interactive entertainment and mechanical games. A modern child no longer needs fantasies, this living connection with the Almighty. Having been engaged in psychological counseling for a decade, I observed how this transformation took place in children living in Russia. The computer, comics, transforming toys, dolls with pronounced gender characteristics killed this connection, destroyed God's spark, tore away that original, real thing that was given to each of us at birth, made our children even greater spiritual invalids than ourselves. And in the end , what is left for my contemporary? Having rejected the rational, trust some madman? The thought is frightening and impossible. Like orphans, we rush to anyone who beckons us with affection, and find ourselves in the clutches of yet another scoundrel. And, having recognized the scoundrel in yet another false prophet, we devalue him, no longer trust anyone, or are looking for another prophet! What to do, because you can’t live without God! “What to do?” wrote the classic, asking himself social questions. “What should we do?” we ask ourselves in search of the spirituality that eludes us. Everyone, one way or another, will calm down, calm down, otherwise it is impossible, otherwise either madness or death - such is the human psyche! There is no other way. And disabled humanity lives on. Lives as always - this is unchanged. But is it right to live with a spiritual disability? What does the coming day have in store for us? End of the world? Or maybe it has already arrived? Maybe it has already arrived, and we simply didn’t notice it because of our spiritual inferiority? All these questions bothered me and the people who turned to me for help every day. The meaningfulness of a person’s living in a cage, ina system of perverted values, inverted human relationships, in a society of orphans who, with their own hands, chop off the branches along with the shoots on which they sit. Pain, internal pain from the injustice, the wrongness of everything that is happening around. Mikhail Bulgakov in his works described the civilizational catastrophe that happened to my country, but what to do if you see that the catastrophe is still ongoing, or maybe that it has become even worse? After all, despite the huge human losses at the beginning of the 20th century , cruelty and narrow-mindedness, which then gave rise to totalitarian societies, these societies tried to give their own (let everyone evaluate this for themselves) ideals. And these ideals pulled a person upward to the ephemeral dream of equality and brotherhood, the desire for something beautiful, hitherto unknown. What is left for us now? Where is each of us going in this desert? Where are we all going? The higher the Spirit and intellect, the more questions, and the less one sees ahead. While helping people, achieving certain dynamics in recovery, I constantly felt a residue of lies. Lies that I am able to help a person the way I see; that by helping a person, I return him to a world that again hurts him, again makes him “inferior.” I understood that it was impossible to be whole in a world that is not whole in itself, which every hour, every minute makes each of us incomplete. Hence the emergence of sects of various kinds, hence the lack of acceptance of people by each other, hence the general bitterness. The lies and callousness of people's perverted souls made us mentally disabled. In our childhood, we played a lot, we imagined that we could become whoever we wanted. And only now I clearly see that this is the true path, which we once lost. A living unknown world. Where there is a mermaid in every river and every grove has its own forest spirit. A world as real as the one that everyone sees when they open their eyes after sleep. Only this is a continuation of sleep, a place where Reason with its rationality is still not in power. Where everyone can become natural, like a child, and, therefore, can ignite that very thing that was once lost, and for which we languish with longing; something that will lead us through the horizon, up beyond the clouds, to where the indescribable beauty of the city is, to where our ancestors, those who left us our world, which we have lost, and which we have yet to find, look at us with sad eyes. There, where at the zenith of Glory and Light He is the Almighty, no matter who he is. The one from which we have turned away, and to whom we must return. The chaotic force of change in the air under the slogans of social revolutions, in my opinion, in principle cannot lead to changes in society. It is impossible to awaken society only with the arguments of reason. It is possible to change the social system, eliminate the bulk of social injustices, achieve economic stability, feed the poor, and provide care for the poor. But will our society become happier from this? - I'm afraid not. I'm afraid this will drive us into an even bigger trap. A society of a well-fed, measured life, where all instinctive needs are satisfied, will become even more inert, no longer capable of spiritual change. Why do a well-fed society need them? This, of course, will “prompt and tingle,” but how strong will this unconscious inconvenience be? Please understand me correctly. I’m not saying that only the poor and hungry have access to the triumph of spiritual victories. But I believe that any social change must go in parallel with spiritual and moral revival. Only such parallelism, in my opinion, can be the most correct path for the development of any society. Humanity has long possessed this knowledge, which it stubbornly ignores. Every social upheaval in my country confirms this. All revolutions and coups were subordinated only to a rational principle. Then, naturally, an attempt was made to bring some idealistic outline under this change. But a broken spiritual spine cannot be healed merely cosmetically. And as a result, bloodless, broken, absolutely.
