This is fate, although in psychotherapy it is called a life scenario, according to which a person can be a Winner, a Loser, or Not Participating in the Game (when there is simply no opportunity to fight for one’s happiness). Fate can be changed. To do this, it is enough to make certain psychotechnologies that allow you to rewrite your life script. Only many, out of habit, diligently protect themselves from changes using five types of psychological defense: Doing nothing - when a person loses faith in himself and simply “goes with the flow,” turning a blind eye to problems and refusing look for possibilities to solve them. Often this behavior is reinforced by conclusions about one’s helplessness and disappointment in life. Over-adaptation is an attempt to convince oneself and others that trouble in a certain area of ​​life is justified by special views or concern for loved ones. In general, a demonstration of reconciliation with one’s role in the drama of life’s script. Helplessness - outwardly a person is passive and tired. This behavior is characterized by the transfer of all activity inward: hatred and aggression towards oneself. Sometimes self-punishment. Leaving as a victim, often hating everyone who tries to take away this role. Excitement - oblivion in stormy activity. Not aimed at changing your life. And in order to drown out the pain of one’s own unfulfillment with noise among sports fans or in nightclubs. Endless discussions on the Internet. Violence is a way to get away from your problems by finding someone to blame and often dealing with them through psychological (or physical) violence. When all this does not bring relief from problems, the circle of culprits only expands, often to the borders of the whole world and even God. If in your behavior you recognize at least one of the listed ways to protect yourself from life’s failures, then there are grounds for working with the life scenario programmed in your psyche.
