Japanese-made cartoons with specific graphics and an original plot are intended specifically for teenagers and older people. Many parents and teachers are concerned about how anime affects the psyche of children. In fact, we are talking about a teenager’s exaggerated attraction to anime. Like any culture, or rather subculture, anime has its own characteristics, advantages and disadvantages. Remember the idols of the 1990s. Grunge culture...Rock and roll lifestyle...The infamous Club 27... We live in an ever-changing world, kaleidoscopic in its content. And I, too, was an informal person, a kind of girl with luscious blue hair... But that’s not the point. When for several years mothers bring their sons aged 20 years and older out of fear of being left without grandchildren in the future, of course, Willy-nilly, I am forced to read about anime, and understand the differences between anime and manga, and at least superficially know the slang of anime people... And at the same time, I understand that it is not anime that disrupts the program of these people, but severe neglect, a gap in the parent-son relationship relationships. Moms standardly express their thoughts and fears, “no one will need him,” “the guy is 23, but he’s sitting at home!”, “I organize meetings with girls for him, but he’s not my chan!”, “I’m completely crazy.” !" etc.). These young people are in their twenties. Some are already working, others are studying. Everyone's fate will turn out differently. Getting stuck in adolescence is the subjective opinion of mothers who do not want to understand their own sons, see them as individuals, respect their inner world... “HE MUST GET MARRIED!”, shouts the first “caring” mother, “HE DOESN’T NEED SEX!” - almost fainting, rolls her eyes, the second, “AND HE’S SICK IN GENERAL,” - the third makes a clinical, psychiatric diagnosis... If we speak biasedly, then in anime there are some distortions that can have some impact on the psyche of sophisticated natures (emphasis on hyper-emotional experiences, for example). And again I’ll touch on the issue of age gradation - anime cartoons have age restrictions (!). But in our society there are much more such distortions - alcohol is legally sold near schools, cigarettes, pop music coming from minibuses, like “if only you walked naked next to”... and no one gives a damn about the fact that there are children on public transport who bashfully turn away during another delirium with some kind of joy...Are anime images aesthetic? I’ll say a trivial thing, but there’s no arguing about tastes. I find them quite distinctive, I can't say I'm an anime fan. But I don’t experience bouts of irritation when I see such characters. In addition, I read somewhere a long time ago that anime art was strongly influenced by...Soviet animation, namely the masterpiece “The Snow Queen.” It just so happens that my family has always had a keen interest in Japan and Japanese culture. And, as far as I managed to notice during our conversation, anime fans passionately love Japan and, to a certain extent, gain knowledge about it from anime. Having talked closely with anime fans, I did not see any serious mental disorders. The only exception was one young man with psychoneurological diagnoses that were given to him long before he became acquainted with anime. The rest of the guys turned out to be very well-read, erudite, intelligent, but with their own boundaries.
