From the author: Reflections on femininity based on the work of the "Women's Club" Let's start by defining - what is femininity? If you ask different women and men about this, they will tell us a list of different qualities: sweet, gentle, charming, beautiful, wise, harmonious, weak, strong, compliant, and so on. Moreover, different people have different ideas about femininity. And then it is not clear how can each individual woman understand whether she is feminine? How to acquire or enhance femininity? What to focus on if all opinions are so different. Therefore, I propose a different understanding of femininity. Femininity is a woman's connection with her inner feminine nature. And how she feels this connection. And if a woman feels this connection strongly enough, then she feels feminine, and she doesn’t need to look for guidelines in the outside world at all, because she is her own guideline and becomes this guideline for others. Because her eyes glow with a warm inner light, her body movements are soft and graceful, and it doesn’t matter what she looks like, and it doesn’t matter how cute she is at the moment - she can be angry, or upset, or sad about something. But you look at her and you have no doubt that this is undoubtedly a feminine woman in front of you! And how can you achieve such a feeling? The fact is that our femininity lives in our body, and in order to feel it we must first feel and love our body. Have you ever felt the joy of being a woman? Did you feel your body as a woman’s and get pleasure from it? This is the key to discovering your own femininity, an inner feeling that does not depend on fashion or the opinions of others. Which gives inner support, confidence and strength. True feminine power. There are many different ways that can help you feel connected to your inner nature and love the woman in you. You can start with this exercise: you need to sit or lie down in a calm environment so that no one will distract you. You can turn on quiet, pleasant music. Mentally “walk” through your body, feel all its parts, but try not just to feel them, but to feel them as “female”: feel each of your hands as a woman’s, leg, and neck, and back - a woman’s back, and fingers and toes as for women and so on until you have done this with all the parts and organs that come to your mind. For example, feel your heart as a woman's heart. Then feel your whole body as a woman’s, make a few movements, move around, all the time feeling like a woman. At first it may not work out, but after a while you will begin to understand and feel your feminine part. The second thing you can do is learn to enjoy the fact that you are a woman! Remember some moment in your life when you received joy or pleasure precisely because you are a woman. Remember how you felt at that moment, what you felt. Remember these feelings. Then remember other similar moments, each separately and in detail. Create inside yourself a kind of “piggy bank” of women’s joys and replenish it constantly. Gradually, you will learn to almost constantly feel the joy of being a woman. This will enhance your inner sense of femininity, and external changes will happen as if by themselves!
