“There are no barriers to us: we are in a creative flow!” - So really not? - Or maybe it’s good that these barriers sometimes stand in the way of a creative person? Maybe there is something useful in them, and you shouldn’t give them up right away? Everyone decides for themselves. You can read about the first three obstacles here: https://www.b17.ru/article/316184/And here it is , obstacle four, my beloved Yes, yes, it’s you, my dear inner critic. What I want to tell you: - My dear inner critic, I’m working now, I’m in a process, and I have inspiration. And for you, alas, there is no work yet. - Go for a walk in the garden, breathe the air of freedom, listen to the birds. Dress warmly and go for a walk. - And in a couple of hours, or better yet tomorrow, come back. Be sure to come. When I finish the article, I’ll write everything I wanted to say, reveal the essence, give arguments and put an end to it. - Then I’ll distract myself a little: I’ll cook something to eat or go to the gym. - And tomorrow morning I’ll sit down to proofread the article that’s almost ready. Here, dear inner critic, come: you are welcome. And if you take a walk in the garden, I will call you myself. Because you will be my best partner when I read the article out loud, correct typos and put commas in the right places. Your help will be so useful to me with this. After all, I’m not a very attentive person to details, and you won’t miss a single typo. And thank you for that: we’ll work together to make the article easy to read and the spelling to be excellent. So we talked like that, and the inner critic is happy went about his business on his own. Meanwhile, I write freely: thoughts flow easily, the right words are found, and my heart is happy. The fifth obstacle is very popular among creative people. For some reason, the muse is ignoring me: I haven’t visited for a long time. And here I sit, waiting for a special mood suitable for creativity. But there is still no inspiration. Many people think so: to start creative work, inspiration is as necessary as air. To BREATHE deeply and write an article, a song, a picture... It’s great, of course, when there is inspiration, there is an idea, and the right words are found. But what if everything is present, but the inspiration is somewhere far away, and not with me? What to do: wait or start working without it... Start, of course, right now. You can open Word and start writing everything that comes to mind. And even if everything written is not at all on the topic of the article, and the lines of the verse of the future are somehow clumsy. Yes, even so: but there is an idea, and the topic is in the focus of attention, and the fingers habitually tap on the keys. After a short time, they will definitely appear words are hints on the topic, around all sorts of related images. And a little later, coherent sentences will form, just have time to write them down. And, as a reward for working well, suddenly a new perspective will appear, or even an unexpected turn. And now the rough draft of a new article is ready. Or an essay. Here you can look back and see if a rested inner critic is looking over your shoulder. It’s time to kindly address him like this: - My useful friend, inner critic, leave me for a while, Go clear away the snow at the entrance or something . The rhythmic creaking of your shovel will create a working mood for me. - And physical labor in the fresh air will benefit you. I’ll write the text, you’ll help the janitor, and then we’ll sit side by side and work together smoothly. Oh, while I was talking with my inner critic, I feel like I’m already in a creative mood. Now, another obstacle has been left behind, and the new article is almost ready. It's time to post it. Oh, it's not time yet: it needs to be proofread first. There is something for the inner critic to do: take care of style, place commas. He will do this job better than me. I’ll go and call him.
