From the author: Reflections on femininity from the point of view of the science of Ancient China Do you want to be a happy woman, loved and desired, regardless of age and difficult life circumstances? If you tried to find on the Internet a convenient way for you to achieve harmony in your personal life, you probably came across advice from followers of the ancient Chinese teachings of the Tao, who suggested improving your feminine nature. The fundamental concepts of Taoist science, yin and yang, are now well-known to many, and some even know that yin is feminine, and yang is masculine. Supporters of Taoist theory, writing in Russian and gaining knowledge about Tao from translated sources often give the same recommendation, which seems very convincing. Since yin and yang form a single whole, then for a harmonious union with a man, according to some authors, a woman needs to increase her femininity so that a courageous man is attracted to her, and then the yin-yang balance will be ideal, and the love union will be happy. I like student of an ethnic Chinese and grand master of Tao, I want to tell you what yin and yang are, how Taoist teaching understands femininity, and what is important for a woman to realize in order to become happy and loved. I recently came across a publication that reflects the typical European understanding of the yin phenomenon. Yang: “In every person there is both male and female energy. For example, men sometimes show sentimentality, emotionality, tenderness, care and other truly feminine qualities, while a woman can show completely masculine traits, such as confidence, strength will, determination, competition, heroism, power, etc. There is no person consisting 100% of any one energy; yin and yang are inextricably present in him.” Understanding yin and yang as feminine and masculine principles is the most common stereotype, far from real Chinese knowledge. According to the Chinese concept, and not the European incorrect translation, yin and yang are internal and external, calm and active, hidden and manifested. And only in the very last place are these polarities connected with the relationship between men and women, very indirectly. Moreover, there is only one energy in Chinese philosophy - qi. But just as electricity arises from the interaction of positive and negative charges, the universal energy qi moves as a result of the contact of two interacting opposite components - yin and yang. If we use an analogy with physics, we can say that yin is like potential energy, that is, the energy of a stationary body raised above the ground, and yang is like kinetic energy, that is, the energy of a moving body. However, when diagnosing the energy state of each of the internal organs and the entire system as a whole, not the polarities “calm - active”, but “cold - hot” are used. Depending on the excess or deficiency of yin or yang, the missing part of the energy is supplied to the corresponding energy channel or meridian or the part that turns out to be superfluous is expelled. Very often, during treatment with ancient Chinese methods, sensitive patients feel cold in their feet - this is how the Tao Master expels pathogenic energy through a certain channel or several channels. By the way, about sensitivity. The author of the mentioned article believes that emotionality and sentimentality are feminine qualities. This completely contradicts the Chinese understanding of the energetic nature of man. From the point of view of real experts in Taoist science, in which medicine and psychology are closely related, human sensitivity is a sign of open, that is, not blocked, channels through which energy circulates freely. Energy and physical health are determined precisely by the emotionality of the individual, the ability to fully and qualitatively experience emotions and process them into new experiences. Now let’s return to the conversation about femininity as the Yin component of the Tao, the harmony of the external and internal. In the mentioned!
