To be or not to be – that is the question. Why does a person live? In this post I will share the answers that I have received from interviewing people over the past five years. A small part of the answers - 60 videos - can be seen on my Youtube channel, these were, as a rule, prepared interviews with pre-known questions, about 300 more people are people with whom I had the opportunity to simply talk “for life”, questions, As a rule, they were asked without warning. Plus more than 200 videos that I watched on YouTube for the query “meaning of life.” So, the list is something like this, the most common ones first: The meaning of life is to: Raise successful children (most often found among family people). Become happy. Enjoy life (get as many positive emotions and sensations as possible). Make your life comfortable (money, apartments, houses, cars, trips). Become successful, achieve a high position, make a career, develop a business. Get recognition, be loved (hunters for likes on social networks and not only on social networks). In order to realize oneself, develop, improve oneself. Find the answer to the question “What is the meaning of life?” (understand what the meaning of life is). Just live. Serve God or be an instrument in the hands of higher powers in the creation of the world, through the manifestation of one’s creative energy. There are those who argue that the meaning of a particular person’s life can only be assessed after his death, since until the last moment the opportunity remains to perform some important act that can make life more meaningful. For example, at the cost of one’s life to save another. Another observation is that a person revises meanings throughout life, as a rule, this happens during personal crises. A young man or girl strives to build relationships, then family may come first, then success, or all this may exist in parallel. The important question is why some of us for some, sometimes quite a long time, lose understanding of the meaning, despite what they have before them as examples of other people who lead meaningful lives. I will present my observations about this in the following articles.
