At the recently held “Modern Ericksonian Hypnosis” training, a topic suddenly surfaced that previous groups had not paid much attention to. And this topic began with the question: how does internal intention differ from desire? And what works more effectively? Good question, isn't it? Let's figure it out together. To understand the difference and evaluate effectiveness, it is useful to initially define the concepts. What is DESIRE, and what is INNER INTENTION. And since no one has yet outlined clear boundaries of one or the other, and how can they be outlined if the concepts are purely subjective. And that means how many people there are, so many formulations. Then we will build on the formulation. In other words, from the verbal form. I intend, intend, intentionally, or the measure is observed and therefore, apparently, a subjective (!) often unconscious feeling of the availability of what I intend to receive or do appears. And since our deep wisdom, our dear unconscious, received from us a signal of the availability of what we wanted (or sent us this signal itself? the eternal question of the egg and the chicken...), then the likelihood of its implementation increases significantly. What do you want to get? What do you intend to get? Do you feel the difference? The word intends, the intention even has a different potential, charge or something. More active and somehow even calmer about the result. The word “intention”, as if the presence of a result assumes by default, which cannot be said about desires or dreams. The word “desire” is the default, what does it do to the result? Questions it. If you want it, then you’re not sure you’ll get it. Otherwise, why want? So it turns out that if you want a result to work out, grow together, come true, collapse, then intention (especially internal!) is a much more working and useful tool. And if you want to prove to yourself that “not everything wishes come true,” or “there is no happiness in life,” or “wishes alone will not satisfy you,” or “dreams are not about our honor,” then... desire as a tool is completely justified. Therefore, one of the main features of hypnosis is inner intention. One of the main features of achievement is internal intention + a feeling of accessibility of what you want. Inner intention is one of the main features of getting what you want in an easy and inexpensive way (what unites all our training programs, what runs like a red thread through all of our professional activities, and what’s up! – our lives). We do not suggest taking our word for it. Certainly! In our time of a stream of “discoveries”, “declassifications” and so on. super sensations, it is very difficult (and we have seen this from our own experience!) to find really smart - practical, effective and simple chips. Both practicality and effectiveness can only be assessed by action and only by your own! ATTENTION! We invite you to take part in testing! Assignment: Try for a week to consciously replace every desire that arises with an intention. Mentally formulating what you want with the verbal frame “I intend, I intend.” And watch the results of this “approach” to getting what you want. What changes in your condition? In relation to the desired result? How often do you get this result? How much easier (subjectively!) do you get what you want with this approach? We will be grateful if you write to us personally or in the comments on the blog about the results of your experiments. Have a successful and interesting week! Author: Svetlana Pozharova
