Scenario "Sleeping Beauty" The essence of the scenario/example of fairy tales: "Sleeping Beauty", "The Tale of the Dead Princess and the 7 Knights", "Snow White". Prerequisites for the formation of the scenario: Great intimacy with even excessive by the father (when the child loses his sense of self) - more often occurs in cases where the emotional closeness of the father and mother is weakened or lost. The daughter receives from her father the instruction “don’t grow up”, a direct or indirect ban on relationships with other, “unworthy” men. The consequence of such closeness is a weak sense of boundaries in the relationship, when mom and dad are no longer perceived as a couple. 1) Perceived as a victory over the mother in competition for the father. 2) There is a deep feeling of guilt before the mother, a feeling that she has been betrayed. Due to the loss of the mother as a parent, difficulties arise with the feminine part of one’s identity, with the saturation of mother’s energy. Due to the merger, you lose the feeling that you are valued by a significant adult, a parent. Such a value is not assigned by the daughter or is perceived as something she is not very worthy of. There is also a violation of the family system (father is taller than mother, mother is displaced, daughter is in a coalition with father. How the scenario manifests itself: f As a result of an oversaturation of closeness, the child feels the regularity of contact with the father. At the level of chemical reactions, the body turns on protective inhibition on everything related to sensuality and sexuality. The place of the partner in their internal system is occupied by the father. The father is idealized, men are perceived in comparison as midgets (dwarves, younger brothers). like teenagers, very romantic and detached, soaring with their dreams of a prince. Relationships with men are short-term, shallow, without emotions and sensual experiences. “Sleeping beauties” can fall in love with an invented image, with a virtual interlocutor, with an unavailable man (for example, already in a relationship relationships, thereby reproducing the triangle in the parental family system) Outside of psychotherapy, “sleeping beauties” have a chance to free themselves from the script either through real care, a break with their father or his death.
