Above is a picture of a real workhorse. But sometimes our body can be put in this place if we forget about it, ignore its needs and fatigue. What do you do for your body? Do you eat, drink, sleep and even get enough sleep sometimes? All these actions are necessary in order to maintain one's existence. So that the body works as it should and does not let you down, so that cognitive processes and emotional state do not deteriorate. But are you doing anything else for yourself? What could be called taking care of the body? If you have a question in response: “What, food and sleep are not enough?”, congratulations - your body is the same workhorse. Unfortunately, this horse is hardy and silent, so it , or rather, it (the body) only occasionally makes itself known when everything gets very bad. The body’s language is very simple - pain and tension. And if we always feel pain, then the tension is often ignored until it intensifies and transforms into pain. How to start taking care of the body? The very first thing is to learn to listen to it. Stop the flow of thoughts and concentrate on bodily sensations, note where the body is tense, whether it is comfortable now. Remember how you spend your weekends and free time from work - is your body resting at this moment. Housework is also work. Although sometimes the “cunning” brain counts this time during rest. Do you have an adequate level of physical activity in your life? Complete passivity is just as bad for the body as incessant activity. Alternating tension and relaxation is what the body could ask for as a gift for the New Year or birthday) Is there a place for bodily pleasures in your life? Massage, hot bath with bomb, yoga, stretching (although this can also be considered physical activity). Everyone has their own list, above is an abbreviated version of mine (I have a lot more on this wonderful list). Taking care of the body is an important part of taking care of ourselves in general, and this is a responsibility that lies entirely with ourselves. From March 30 to April 3, on my blog on Instagram INSTGR_LINK, I will be holding a small free marathon of body care. Join and your body will tell you “Thank you!”)* Instagram is owned by Meta, which is recognized as an extremist organization in Russia.
