From the author: There is only a moment between the past and the future - it is called life. Yes, man is mortal, but that would not be so bad. The bad thing is that sometimes he is suddenly mortal, that’s the trick! M.A. Bulgakov I get the feeling that excessive control is a hidden fear of death. And a person, trying to control himself and those around him, thereby drowns out his anxiety that everything in this world is not eternal. And if something doesn’t go according to plan for such a control freak, panic immediately begins, sometimes turning into hysteria. And behind this behavior lies a chilling and numbing fear of death - the reluctance to accept this fact makes life look like a game of someone. It’s as if a person with his whole being is trying to prove to himself and the world that he can do anything, everything is in his power, he is such a mini-God on planet Earth. And the very idea that no one knows when the flow of life can stop is in every possible way repressed and replaced by this God complex. In addition to the fear of death, those who like to control have lost their basic trust in the world. The world seems to them to be something dangerous and scary, and therefore it is better to create your own illusory world, in which you will be a screenwriter, a director, a cameraman, and an actor all rolled into one. And how unbearable it becomes when someone around you refuses to play this game and live up to the script! At this moment, the controller’s entire fictitious picture of the world begins to crack. After all, he has everything planned out and scheduled for decades in advance! The most common scenario: school, college, good job, marriage, family, children, career growth, every year at sea, grateful husband and children, then grandchildren and a happy old age with family . This is the perfect picture! But, unfortunately, if something starts to go wrong, for example: failures at work or a family collapse, then it becomes very difficult, and sometimes almost impossible, for such a person to adapt to the new course of life, to rethink why the failure occurred and everything didn’t turn out the way I wanted. And the person falls into apathy, depression, someone begins to abuse alcohol and gradually sink lower and lower, and at the same time everyone around him is to blame for the causes of his troubles, someone completely isolates himself from reality and becomes such a solitary hermit. And Only recognition of the fact that life is finite, and unexpectedly finite, allows you to expand the boundaries of yourself, your environment, gives strength and energy. A person begins to see not only himself, but also the people around him, there comes an understanding that each person is individual and our differences are not shortcomings and reasons for alienation, but on the contrary: you can learn a lot from another and thereby make yourself richer. There is a desire to do what you like, to live not according to a fictitious scenario, but here and now. There comes an understanding that this moment between the past and the future is valuable.!
