🙋🏻‍♀ Question: Somehow, from time to time, I love myself and I come first, then I am completely dependent on other people’s opinions, and what will others say, and what do they think. Have you encountered something similar in yourself or others? On the subconscious before Our childhood memories are still preserved. And if some issue was not resolved there or, for example, your mother said in childhood “listen to your elders,” then at the moment you will act from those childhood conclusions. They are not bad, they helped you then. It's just that now you're an adult and they're not so effective anymore. And now your subconscious is looking for an “elder” who will tell you how it should be, how it is “correct”, and not how you want it, how it will actually be better for you. Because only you know the answers to these questions. By working with the image of your inner child, you can allow yourself to listen to yourself, and not depend on other people’s opinions. Exercise Working with your inner child. To do this, give yourself about half an hour of time when nothing will distract you. Imagine that the little girl you were when you were 3-5 years old lives inside you. See what she looks like? What kind of eyes does she have, sad or happy? What would she like? What is she missing? Allow her to simply tell you. The first thing that comes to her thoughts and ideas is right. Tell this little girl that you are near her now. That you love her and are ready to protect her. Tell her the words that you would like to hear as a child. Then thank her for your meeting and promise to do something in life that she asked. And, of course, this will need to be done. Notes: 1). If it’s difficult to imagine and you can’t do it, then take a photo of yourself as a child. And write her a letter.2). There are some very painful memories that will be difficult to work through on your own. Our psyche has “fuses” so that we cannot harm ourselves and go crazy. These “fuses” are the defense mechanisms of the psyche. An example of the mechanisms is below. It is best to work with such painful memories accompanied by a competent specialist who will carefully and carefully lead you to a happier and more fulfilling life. My TG channel, where I publish my thoughts, answer frequently asked questions to a psychologist and share working techniques.
