From the author: A story that continues in the form of a problem. Two boa constrictors of the same length begin to swallow each other from the tail. How far can they swallow each other? But first, a story, how it all began? How the Boa constrictor brothers quarreled History of the issue Once upon a time there lived two boa constrictors. These two cute boa constrictors - in appearance, but, of course, not in hearing - were twins. They were the same length and capabilities. Therefore, from childhood they - although they were rivals in various snake games - had a very cordial relationship with each other. And they rarely quarreled, except perhaps only over trifles, for example, who should sit down to warm up and take a nap after a hearty lunch on a huge boulder, covered, like a velvet tablecloth, with soft green fragrant moss. There were plenty of such boulders in the place where they lived, but the principle of primacy is important here. Both grew up strong and relatively intelligent, capable of solving gastronomic problems of any complexity. All living things in the area respectfully feared their chilling hiss, lightning-fast throws, and amazing gluttony. And the boas gallantly reciprocated the aborigines’ feelings, treated them with love, hunted with pleasure those who respected them so much for their voracity, and swallowed their victims with an appetite proportional to the respect for themselves on the part of their victims. Sometimes out of simplicity of heart, for the sake of their own safety , they affectionately and slowly strangled their victims in order to ease their digestive process from their unnecessary sobbing and twitching in the stomach, until those victims - gave up all the juices of their life, which they no longer needed, to the last drop. But even a boa constrictor can be ruined! One day the boa constrictors - it so happened - did not share the rabbit, it was at the same distance from them, and each boa constrictor considered that this was its rightful prey. All that was left was to quickly hypnotize the rabbit with your gaze; to do this, just look closely into his eyes, then slowly open his mouth, and the rabbit would respectfully jump into it. It was always like this, it worked without misfires. But this time everything happened differently. The rabbit squinted his left eye towards one boa constrictor, and his right eye towards the other, instantly fell into a trance, and began to twitch towards the welcomingly open mouth, then one boa constrictor, then towards the other. The rabbit experienced a strong internal mental conflict. What is it that they can’t agree among themselves? - flashed through the rabbit's head. These unnecessary thoughts suddenly brought the rabbit out of his trance, he insidiously jumped up and meanly jumped into the bushes, burning with shame that he could not show due respect to both boa constrictors at once. The boas remained hungry, and therefore were angry with each other and hissed with displeasure. Moreover, they were also greatly disgraced. Even the magpies chattered and laughed, of course, at them, the boas. And that was the worst of all! This way you can lose all respect from the creatures you eat! And lose the divine appetite forever. And this is tantamount to dying of hunger when there is so much food around that does not respect you, and therefore does not fit into your bottomless stomach. Even the most toothless, blind and hungry boa constrictor will not swallow his victim if she voluntarily climbs into him into the mouth without due respect for his gastronomic needs. And the boas were still young and proud. They needed a lot of respect from others and wanted to maintain a healthy appetite! Terrible situation! Each of the boas was quite stubborn and, to the same extent, considered the other boa to be guilty of everything that happened. Oooh! And they began to glare at each other with a hypnotic gaze, they glared for a long time with all their inherent stubbornness, no one wanted to give in to the other... and then they fell into a deep trance... Such a deep hypnotic trance that both could not withstand the internal tension accumulated over many years and lost the restraint of self-preservation, useful for survival. And, at some point, both boa constrictors at the same time - without
