Today I accidentally found a wish list compiled about five months ago. And I was once again convinced that compiling such lists is a wonderful technique. Over the past few years, I have repeatedly compiled lists of 100 wishes. The technique performs many tasks and is used for a variety of purposes in psychological counseling and coaching. Below I write only about some of the positive effects. ✨At the time of writing, such a list awakens “wants”, a taste for life and gives motivation for movement.✨Over time, other positive effects appear. You can look and evaluate how relevant your desires are now. What do you still want and what do you not? Then it becomes clear which desires are “true” and which are imposed from the outside. And somewhere, the monstrous cynical phrase of some parents “if you want it, if you want it too much” is still a little true :)✨And also, as a rule, some wishes inevitably come true, even if you don’t make cosmic efforts to fulfill them, but just move smoothly and don’t forget About Me. Then it’s very nice to cross them out and realize that what you want is closer than it seems. I recommend it to those who often act from the position of “should” and limit themselves in desires under the pretext “not now, later, when it comes...”, “it’s expensive / difficult, takes time...”, etc. 👉And for those who often want something badly, but rarely get what they want (experience frustration). For those who suffer from a gap between what is desired and what is real.💪How to do it. At first glance, the technique is simple. You need to make a list of 100 wishes. However, the catch is in quantity. The first 10-20-30 wishes are written easily and quickly, then the process freezes and slows down. This is fine. How to deal with this - always have a writing tool at hand (notepad, phone), listen to yourself throughout the day, record desires as soon as they appear. The recording process can be extended over a week or two. Don’t immediately reject ideas that come to mind under the pretext that they are too unrealistic or, on the contrary, “petty.” Don’t be afraid of your desires, write them down, the results will become closer.
