In the modern world, Care exists in different manifestations: person-person, person-animal, person-environment, person-society. It is chosen and used as the main value in service sectors: from psychotherapeutic and medical , to technical crafts. For a long time, within the framework of evolution, man, relying on it, was able to cope with new and difficult issues and tasks for him. Care is inherent in all living beings and serves as the main function not only for the birth and preservation of offspring, but also for its development. Through caring, people formed relationships between themselves and the world, passing on knowledge and skills from generation to generation. Thus, they contributed to the improvement of the world and humanity. Only human care gives meaning to behavior, meaning to life. Caring could not have arisen at all if it had not performed an important social function, if it had not served as a survival tool. The emergence of concern cannot have any other meaning than an adaptive one. If care did not serve this purpose, its emergence and such long-term functioning would be a miracle. I come to the conclusion that nature itself has programmed a caring society. The Parable of Caring according to Goethe. “One day Caring was floating along the river and saw clay on the shore. She picked up a piece of clay and began to shape it. Jupiter passed by and gave the creation a soul. Care decided to give the resulting creation its name. Jupiter began to object and demanded that the clay product be named after him. While Care argued with Jupiter, the Earth rose up and demanded that the creation be named after her, since she provided her material for it. No one wanted to give in. Then they turned to Saturn as the arbitrator. Saturn made the following decision: “Since you, Jupiter, gave the soul, you will receive it back at the end of creation. you will receive his body. And since you, Care, were the first to mold this creature, you will own it as long as it lives. Let's call it homo, since it is made of earth (humus). "Yes, care is present in it. human life, but next to it also stand indifference, neglect, harshness, not to mention, again, the evolutionary processes where people had to survive and lose their loved ones. Which left its mark on the mental processes of our ancestors: beliefs and fears were formed, which often passed between families of older and younger generations. Therefore, even now, modern parents are in a state of anxiety for their child, this is especially true with first-born children. In addition to the fact that the parent has an added burden of responsibility for a new person, fears, phobias, personal experience or the experience of birth scenarios are involved .And so simple care turns into overprotection. The desire to control everything, fear for the child, shame that I am some kind of different parent, I need to do better... Which harms both the adult and the child. WHY ARE WE SO WORRIED?• There are few children, high price of a child;• Parental determinism, blaming parents;• Control of society, increasing the value of security;• Anxiety as the language of love, “to love means to be afraid of losing.” WHAT IS OVERCARE FOR CHILDREN DANGEROUS?• The idea of the world as a totally dangerous place.• Inability cope with difficulties, anxiety, confusion.• Inability to assess risks, little movement and communication.• Protest and dangerous behavior in adolescence. WHAT IS OVERCARE FOR PARENTS DANGEROUS?• Seeing the child’s entire life as dangerous.• Consolidation of avoidance and growth of anxiety, up to phobias.• Exhaustion, since you need to be vigilant all the time.• Lack of free time, little communication with other adults.• At the limit - refusal to have children (more children). In the next article I will try to reveal how to deal with such situations and risk criteria. I invite you to work with anxiety, overprotection, loss of energy, a feeling of isolation in life, loneliness, lack of communication and, in general, with child-parent relationships for an individual consultation.
