Have you probably noticed that the form of our thoughts is directly related to territorial/guarding reflexes and physical actions? For example, there are individuals who express their thoughts specifically and completely, even if they are not particularly deep. A bright representative is the impulsive type according to Sobchik. Such individuals both hold their territory well and are not averse to grabbing additional ones, hey! But there are also those who spread oil over the tree and often forget about the boundaries of their territory. For example, schizoid and anxious types according to Sobchik. Recently, I was supervised by a fairly intelligent business coach, with slight tendencies to go into abstractions. He voiced his request something like this: “Improve your qualifications, including improving your territorial skills.” During the breaks between sessions, he had an illustrative dream; with the client’s permission, I present it with some abbreviations. “In the dream, I was conducting some kind of training that was well known to me, apparently in sales. I suggest everyone prepare an answer to a basic question. Yes, sales training. The question is simple, but it is very important, I want to build further work on it. I start dictating it, but I can’t complete my thought. Then the administrator looks into our room and offers to move to the next classroom. For some reason I resignedly agree. We go there, but there are no tables or chairs there. Again I begin to dictate my question, the participants write it down while standing, I explain for a long time why this question is extremely important, and then some other people come into our room. Looks like they work there. We stand closer in the group, again I dictate something to them, and I just can’t complete my thought. As a result, I wake up in a state of some kind of loss and irritation.” It must be said that in reality this coach, in comparison with a dream, was much better able to express his thoughts and control the territory. But all the same, he sought to compensate for the skills his psychotype lacked, which were important for further professional growth, and submitted a corresponding request in class. I will not describe the details of our work; my proprietary technologies are used in it. But some recommendations for developing the ability to clearly express thoughts and maintain territory for baiting ladies. So, what contributes to the development of the necessary qualities: * Drawing specific things - still life, landscape, portrait. * The same clear sketches in the text. * Playing sports (volleyball, football, basketball, rugby) or martial arts: both here and there are necessary physically hold the territory.* Write a completed short text of your mini-lectures. Make sure that during public speaking there is no lapse into long abstract reasoning.* Play in amateur improv theater, master short forms that require clear, complete actions. When successfully applied, such an integrated approach allows you to develop a concrete, active, impulsive, spontaneous part individuals vigilantly monitoring the territory. Good luck in your self-development, if you have any questions, write in a personal message. Was the text useful to you? Feel free to thank the author with likes!
